Little NinjaZ begin their journey with foundational movements inspired by gymnastics, martial arts, obstacle training, and dance. This introductory level focuses on basic discipline, energy control, and beginning skills through simple sequences of rolls, jumps, and kicks combined with age-appropriate strength and agility activities.
Base NinjaZ is an action-packed adventure where young warriors learn amazing flips, rolls, jumps, and kicks while building incredible strength and agility! Students progress through exciting Ninja Zone levels, mastering challenging obstacle courses and cool martial arts sequences that make them feel like real ninjas. It's the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and achievement where kids develop discipline and focus while having the time of their lives!
Rising Ninjas Extreme Team takes young warriors to the next level with even more thrilling sequences of flips, rolls, jumps, and kicks combined with challenging strength and agility courses! This exciting program builds on ninja skills through structured training that pushes students to achieve new heights while having incredible fun. It's where dedicated ninjas develop serious discipline and focused energy as they master extreme techniques and unlock their full potential!
Ninja starts at 3 years old and runs up to 10 years old. You can think about it like the Ninja offerings at GymKids are for Preschoolers and go all the way through elementary school.
We welcome first-time ninjas! Most children start with no prior ninja experience, so your child will fit right in. Our coaches begin each session by carefully assessing your child's current abilities and comfort level, then place them with other beginners in a supportive ninja squad. We teach all our ninjas to encourage and cheer for one another, creating a positive environment where new students feel welcomed and confident to try new challenges at their own pace.
At GymKidz, our certified ninja coaches prioritize your child's safety above all else. Every ninja activity begins with comprehensive preparation - coaches demonstrate each obstacle and challenge, teaching children the exact muscles to engage and proper techniques needed for safe execution. Before attempting any challenge, ninjas learn the fundamentals through guided practice and progressive skill building.
Our trained coaches provide active spotting throughout every session, ensuring your child has constant support as they build confidence on the course. We believe in challenging children appropriately for their developmental stage, with coaches carefully assessing each ninja's readiness before advancing to new obstacles. This methodical approach means your child develops strength, technique, and confidence simultaneously - never attempting challenges beyond their prepared skill level.
Every ninja course activity is designed with safety protocols, age-appropriate progressions, and immediate coach intervention when needed. Parents can feel confident knowing their child is learning proper form, building core strength safely, and developing resilience through supported challenges that match their individual abilities.
The ninja classes vary in length depending typically on how old the ninja is. For early preschool beginner Ninja's classes are usually 30 minutes in length. As ninjas progress in both age and skill classes them become 45 minutes. And for the experienced Ninja's classes are usually 60 minutes.
Dress your child in comfortable athletic wear - shorts and a short-sleeve shirt work best for safe movement and flexibility. Our facility is climate-controlled for comfort, but as your little ninja gets active, they'll naturally warm up! If your child prefers to bring a light jacket or hoodie, we have convenient cubbies where they can store extra layers during class. This ensures they stay comfortable while having the freedom to move safely through all our ninja challenges.
